1. What Efflora is

Efflora is a calm iOS app for reflecting on a finite life and living today more fully — a daily reflection, your life in weeks, a bucket list, the people you love, and a tender way to prepare what you may one day leave behind (farewell wishes, an obituary in your own words, letters, a keepsake memorial, and a place for important documents). It is a personal, private space — a keepsake, not a public service.

2. Using the app

You may use Efflora for your own personal, non-commercial reflection and preparation. You need no account. You are responsible for the device you use it on and for keeping your own backups (iCloud handles this if you enable it).

3. Your content & data

Everything you create in Efflora is yours. It stays on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. We claim no ownership of it and we cannot read it. How data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Not legal or medical advice

This matters, so we say it plainly: Efflora helps you write down and keep your wishes — but the farewell wishes, obituary, documents, and other content you create in the app are personal expressions and keepsakes, not legally binding instruments. Efflora is not a will, an advance directive, an estate-planning service, or legal or medical advice, and does not create any legal obligation on anyone.

For a legally valid will, advance healthcare directive, or funeral arrangement, please consult a qualified lawyer or the relevant authority in your country. Efflora is a companion for reflection and care — treat what it holds accordingly, and don’t store passwords or secrets in it (note only where things are).

5. A free app

Efflora is free and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions at this time. If that ever changes, we will update these terms and be clear about it in the app before anything is offered.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse-engineer, tamper with, or misuse the app beyond what the law allows;
• use the app to harm, harass, or deceive anyone;
• use the app in any way that breaks the law where you live.

7. Disclaimers & liability

Efflora is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make it calm and reliable, but we can’t guarantee it will always be error-free or available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codeful is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or for any loss of content you did not back up. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

8. Termination

You may stop using Efflora at any time by deleting the app. We may discontinue the app or these terms with reasonable notice where required; because your data lives with you, discontinuation does not take your content away from your device or iCloud.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, except where the consumer-protection laws of your country grant you additional, non-waivable rights (in which case those apply).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
